Each Spring for the last 6 years Shabby Chic' Painting & Decors was a featured Interior Designer for the Middletown Main St., Inc Historic Designer Show House, in Middletown, DE. 

So began " The Paint-It Lady" after doing several show houses I discovered that I was not the only one who loved old things. Visitors really responded to my passion for Vintage Furniture, Shabby Chic' Painted Furniture & French Country furniture, and Farmhouse style chic'. I quickly discovered that the things I've loved all along the rest of the world was finally discovering. 

Now I get to blend my work & home, as it was originally. My Victorian home mid 1880's was built as a General Store and family home. It was run as a store for many years and the family even rented rooms out to travelers as the home was so close to the train station! In later years the owner's son converted the store front into a pool hall that many locals still remember. In 2013 I Opened the doors of The Paint-It Lady shop filled to the brim with wonderful furniture and home decor'. Hope you can stop by and explore for yourself!
